Our Story

Rockwell Pasta was created in response to the pandemic by husband and wife team, Holger Schoorl and Katie Swift. Holger is a chef, baker, and pasta maker with nearly 30 years experience. He was pasta chef and baker at Toronto's beloved, Enoteca Sociale for nearly ten years, and most recently did the same at Bar Vendetta (pre-Covid). Currently, he makes all the pasta for Rockwell by hand in Bar Vendetta's professional prep kitchen.

Katie & Holger have a busy, blended family with two teenagers and two little kids at home in Toronto's West End. Their goal with Rockwell Pasta is to provide fresh, restaurant-quality pasta to their neighbours, friends and fellow Torontonians who enjoy delicious food but like most of us, cannot currently dine out or afford take-out all the time. Our pasta is fresh, simple to prepare, accessible, and can be delivered to your door, completely contact-free.

It has been a joy and a bright light in these dark times to provide delicious food to families and foodies across the city. Our pasta is truly made with love...from Rockwell Avenue.
