Rockwell Pasta was created in response to the pandemic by husband and wife team, Holger Schoorl and Katie Swift. Holger is a pasta maker and baker with nearly 30 years experience. Formerly the pasta chef and baker at Toronto's beloved Enoteca Sociale, most recently, he did the same at Bar Vendetta but was laid off when Covid hit. Katie and Holger eventually decided to take it upon themselves to get Holger's amazing pasta into the hands of neighbours and friends who might be craving a little comfort. Thus, Rockwell Pasta was born!
With a busy, blended family - two teenagers and two little kids at home in Toronto's West End - their goal with Rockwell was to provide fresh, restaurant-quality pasta to their fellow, food-loving Torontonians who were really missing dining out. Holger's pasta is fresh, handmade, flavour-packed, veggie-forward, simple to prepare and delivered directly to your door, contact-free.
It has been a joy and a bright light in these dark times to provide delicious food to families and foodies across the city. Our pasta is truly made with love...from Rockwell Avenue.
